iPhone 5

It's 2012 and the speculation is as high as ever. When will Apple release the iPhone 5 AND what will it look like?!? Me, myself, and I are dying to know! I'm currently on the news version, the 4S, which is basically the same as the 4, but with Siri. It is said that when the 5 is released we will never look at smart phones the same way again. I know that sounds a bit outlandish, but if there was a company who could back up those expectations, Apple would be it.

So, I scoured the Internet to try and catch a glimpse of what the 5 might look like. Of course, there are countless fakes, which actually provides more entertainment than if I had actually found real photos of the 5. I've posted a few for you to enjoy as well! Let me know which one you like the best! My favorite is the last one.

In terms of real ease dates they range anywhere from February 24th (Steve Jobs' birthday), to mid-March (to pre-empt a possible iPad 3 release), to June (the original iPhone release month), to Oct/Nov. While Apple hasn't tipped their hat yet, it seems that an announcement will be coming soon.

But for now, I leave you with this video of 'things to come' for future iPhones. This concept video was created by the Aatma 3D Animation Studio. Enjoy!

So Much For That

So of course, right after I make my 2012 sports predictions and say that the Heat are going to go 57-9 in the regular season they go on a three game losing streak.  I never would have thought that this team could have a lost three straight. They seemed so cohesive in the first two weeks of play. Every team goes through a rough patch. The Heat's started when they blew a double digit lead in the 4th quarter on the road against Golden State. Former heat player Dorrell Wright came up clutch hitting six 3's en route to an overtime upset over the Heatles. The next night the Heat fall again in OT to the Clippers.  The worst part of the whole thing wasn't the three losses themselves, but the potential loss of Dwyane Wade who appeared to roll his ankle in the waning moments of the 4th quarter.  Hopefully it's not hurt too bad and he won't miss too much time.  I think the Heat can still win without him as Chris Bosh proved when he led the Lebron/Wade-less Heat to a triple-overtime victory in Atlanta last week.

So, this post goes out to the Heat. Hopefully they will use these next couple of days to mentally and (in Wade's case) physically recuperate, and come out playing like they did those first two weeks.

The following pictures are from the last Heat game I was at, Game 4 EC Finals, against the Bulls (courtesy of the Miami Heat/NBA)

Food Friday

I'm going to start another feature on the blog called Food Friday. Pretty self-explanatory. I'm going to post about a new food every week. First up are chocolate chip cookies. We actually only planned on making chocolate chip cookie dough, but we through a few in the oven for presentations sake. The recipe we used is the one on the back of the Toll House chocolate chips bag. They know what they're doing because it tastes amazing! Enjoy the pics, taken on my Rebel T2i.
